Brockwell Energy are pleased to confirm that, on 5 January 2022, construction activities for the Westfield Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) commenced as HZI, the project’s EPC contractor, mobilised on site. This marks a pivotal step forward following financial close.
The site boundary has been delineated and secured, with fencing in place to establish a safe and organised work area. Initial enabling works, including platform development and the construction access road, are now underway and expected to progress over the coming months.
Alan Trueman, Project Manager for the build phase of the Westfield ERF, commented:
