Brockwell Energy is delighted to announce the appointment of Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI) as the long-term Operations and Maintenance (O&M) partner for the Earls Gate Energy Centre. The decision follows a rigorous procurement process, run under a Management Services Agreement (MSA) with EGECL, and approved by both the board and project lenders.
Andrew Dean, Brockwell’s General Manager for Operations, led the negotiation process and secured terms with HZI. Reflecting on the partnership, Andrew commented,
While the process was challenging, our prior collaboration with HZI gave us confidence in their ability to deliver. Their expertise and financial robustness make them the ideal long-term partner for this project.
Neil Young, COO of Brockwell Energy, added,
This partnership builds on HZI’s proven track record in commissioning facilities. Their involvement ensures a seamless transition from commissioning to operations, delivering excellence for EGECL, beyond which we will continue to collaborate on further optimisation of plant performance.
This strategic partnership marks another step forward in Brockwell’s commitment to providing world-class energy solutions in collaboration with top tier partners.
