Sean is a chartered chemical engineer with over a decade of experience designing and optimising complex industrial systems. He began his career with an EPC contractor and consultancy, improving chemical plant performance before moving into the plastic recycling industry. There, he played a key role in developing and scaling an innovative process that converted end-of-life plastics into liquid fuels, later managing engineering and commercial-scale projects across Europe.

Since joining Brockwell Energy in 2022, Sean has been instrumental in strengthening the company’s Energy from Waste (EfW) capabilities. Initially Deputy Project Manager for the construction of the Westfield ERF in Fife, he now leads operations, ensuring the facility runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest performance standards.

With a strong engineering foundation and hands-on experience across alternative energy, waste, and chemicals, Sean brings a valuable skill set to Brockwell Energy. His technical expertise and commitment to operational excellence support Brockwell’s mission to deliver reliable, sustainable energy solutions.
